Terry Farrell

Terry Farrell came to international prominence as the slinky, exotically spotted Jadzia Dax on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. After six seasons, she switched to CBS’s Becker, where she plays Reggie, a drabbish diner owner who can sling wisecracks as expertly as she slings hash. Dave Hackel, executive producer of the hit sitcom, says Farrell’s sex appeal "comes from her ability to show strength, as well as vulnerability." But he admits plans are afoot to glam Reggie up a little next season. Farrell is all for it, unless it means Reggie’s love-hate relationship with Becker (Ted Danson) puts them in the sack. "I definitely want her to finally get some with somebody," says Farrell. "But if she has sex with Becker and it doesn’t work out, he won’t come to the diner anymore, and I’ll be out of a job. I’d rather serve him coffee for the next six years." —M.L.
